Peter L. File, Optical Cable Corporation’s Director of Specialty Sales, is responsible for the company’s sales and distribution efforts for rugged fiber optic cable and connectivity solutions, specializing in the petro-chemical, oil & gas refining, mining, and industrial markets. OCC is a global leader in designing innovative and reliable solutions for uses in harsh environment applications.
File has more than 10 years of experience with OCC designing and selling harsh environment cable solutions for applications ranging from data centers to oil platforms. Prior to that he worked in various capacities ranging from electrical design to sales for transit power transformers. He received his B.S. in Electrical Engineering Technology in 1988 from East Tennessee State University.
