Steve Surfaro

Steve Surfaro is the Group Manager of Strategic Technical Liaison, for Panasonic Security Systems. Steve works with many industry associations and industry education professionals, including the Security Industry Association, ASIS, BICSI, NICET and The IP Institute. His goal is to achieve a consistent education and standards level for the converged Physical Security and Information Technology Industries. Steve has been a member of the ASIS Physical Security Council for seven years and has taught numerous accredited workshop seminars for ASIS. He is also a frequent presenter for the ISC Trade Show and other conferences. A member in good standing of all the aforementioned associations, Steve is often published and quoted in Physical and Network Security publications in the United States, including Security Dealer, Access Control, College Planning and Management, Life and Safety Systems and Today's Facility Manager. In Steve's over ten years' tenure with Panasonic, he has been responsible for Security-related projects including the New York Stock Exchange, United Nations, Time Warner, New York City Transit and Busch Stadium in St. Louis.
