As Technical Director for TrueNet Structured Cabling Systems at ADC, Kam Patel is responsible for driving innovation and introducing new structured cabling products for the Enterprise market. In this role, he manages ADC's global structured cabling warranty programs and the company's development efforts relating to copper and fiber products. Since joining ADC 15 years ago, Patel has held a variety of technical and management positions in Operations, Engineering, Marketing and Product Management. Patel holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of Vermont, and is the author of numerous articles and presentations on the design of telecommunications and data networks. He also represents ADC on various ISO standards committees including the Augmented Category 6 Cabling Systems Workgroup, and as chairman of the Ethernet Alliance's technical subcommittee.
