Gregg Lafontaine, Ortronics/Legrand's Senior Product Manager for copper channel products, has over 25 years of product management experience in the Telecom/Data Com industry. Lafontaine joined Ortronics/Legrand in 2000 leading an interdepartmental team in the development and support of copper based connecting hardware products and cabling systems for enterprise and data center applications. Lafontaine holds a Bachelor of Science in Business management from the University of Connecticut and has represented Ortronics/Legrand at the TIA/EIA copper cabling standards committees. In addition, he has authored several white papers on cabling performance and is named in two issued patents by the USPTO. Ortronics/Legrand, in New London, CT serves as the Center of Excellence for all Legrand's fiber development worldwide.
