Derrick Stikeleather is the Senior Product Design Engineer for the Enterprise Connectivity - Copper Products division of Optical Cable Corporation. He has over 20 years of experience in the design, test, and manufacture of structured cabling solutions. Mr. Stikeleather oversees and coordinates all development of the copper structured cabling product line, as well as directs core research and development efforts. Derrick has been a contributing member of TIA TR-42.7 copper cabling sub-committee for more than 6 years. Current projects of the sub-committee include PN-568-C.2-1 Balanced Twisted-Pair Telecommunications Cabling and Components Standard, Addendum 1: Specifications for 100 Category 8 Cabling.
