David Lopez has over 20 years of experience in the Telecom industry and has worked exclusively for Greenlee Communications during that time. David currently serves as both an Inside Technical Specialist and Filed Applications Trainer. His duties include providing office-based technical support and performing onsite training for all Greenlee Communications products, hosting and leading product “Tool School” training for Greenlee Communications sales staff and distributors, as well providing internal support for Engineering, Product Management, and Operations.
David began his career in 1996 with Tempo, which was acquired by Greenlee-Textron in 2001, as a Service & Repair Technician performing circuit board level and mechanical repairs on Tempo test instruments. He was brought into Tempo’s Product Development and Marketing group in 2000 as an Associate Product Manager, where his primary duty was providing sustaining product management for telecom test instrument product lines. In 2003, David began his current technical support responsibilities with the communications product lines, and he expanded his duties into Greenlee’s electrical products in 2007. He returned exclusively to providing support for Greenlee Communications products in 2013 when the Greenlee Communications division was formed. David has an Associate of Science degree in Electronic Technology from Cuyamaca College and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business, with marketing concentration, from University of Phoenix in 2009.
