Sean Kelly

Sean P. Kelly, RCDD, is an Application Engineer for Fiber Optic Products and Optical LAN Solutions at CommScope (TE-BNS). He has over 18 years of global fiber optic connectivity and infrastructure experience, including testing, development, manufacturing, and application engineering roles. He has also served in business development and product management-related roles for several business units at TE. He was also a key contributor to the KT FTTH PON deployment in South Korea in 2006-2008. Sean has spent the past five years focusing on passive optical LANs, educating the industry on this technology, promoting its advantages over traditional LAN architectures, and providing design guidance on several Passive Optical LAN projects and deployments. He currently serves as Chair of the Technology Committee for the Association for Passive Optical LAN (APOLAN), is a Director on the APOLAN Board of Directors, is a member of the HTNG Fiber to the Room Workgroup, and the Bicsi FENT committee.
