Principal

Jonathan Jew is principal of J&M Consultants, a telecommunications and computer consulting firm specializing in technology rooms, including data centers, engineering labs, server rooms, and trading floors. Jonathan is Secretary of the TIA TR-42 Telecommunications Cabling Systems Engineering Committee, Chair of the TIA TR-42.6 Telecommunications Administration Subcommittee, Vice-Chair of the TIA TR-42.3 Pathways and Spaces Subcommittee, Co-Chair of BICSI’s Data Center Subcommittee, and Vice-Chair of US-TAG to ISO/IEC JTC 1 SC 25 WG3. He was co-author of the original TIA-942 Telecommunications Infrastructure Standard for Data Centers, and has been heavily involved in each of the standard’s two revisions. In his 38-year career, Jew has carried out data center relocation and infrastructure projects covering multiple millions of square feet of data center space. In 2013, professionals in the cabling industry recognized Jonathan Jew as one of 20 professionals who have made positive contributions to the industry.
