Matthew Miller is responsible for leading new product and service development in Corning Optical Communications’ commercial organization, through deep customer understanding. His goal is to delight customers with innovative and valued solutions. Matthew has been with Corning Optical Communications since 2008, and has held positions as a Field Engineer, Systems Engineer, and in Marketing. As a Field Engineer, he was deployed to customer sites to manage and support the installation of Corning products in Fiber-to-the-home and Data Center projects. As a Systems Engineer, Matthew helped customers design solutions for their LAN and data center applications. While in Marketing, he created the Corning Bill-of-Materials (BOM) tool, which makes finding spec sheets and building BOMs easy. In his current role as Local Area Network (LAN) Market Development manager, Matthew has developed new WCH and SPH hardware designs as well as creating Secure Solutions for federal customers. Matthew holds a B.S. in Computer Science from Mercer University in Macon, Georgia.
