Ken Hall has been actively involved in the communications industry for over 20 years. He currently is the Global Program Manager for NETCONNECT OEM and Data Center business. Ken works directly with major network OEMs on next-generation high port count switch and server development as well as Consultants, Enterprise Clients and Service Providers for Data Center migration planning. Previously, as Global Fiber Optic Marketing Manager, Ken was a contributing inventor, responsible for the development and proliferation of the MT-RJ and other Small Form Factor connectors. He was actively involved in standardization efforts within TIA, Fibre Channel and IEEE on various technology platforms. Ken has been with AMP/Tyco Electronics for 22 years in program management, technical sales and marketing. His background includes vertical marketing, transportation industries, outside plant, premise cabling, distribution, and services. Experienced in issues of infrastructure installation, system design, troubleshooting, and network applications he brings realizable efficiencies to data center environments. He speaks at many industry conferences and technical seminars on topics including technology trends, data center design, fiber optics and zone cabling with articles published in a variety of industry and technology publications.
