April 19, 2001 Runcom Technologies, Ltd. (www.runcom.co.il) will make two announcements at the National Association of Broadcaster's Conference (NAB 2001) in Las Vegas from April 23 - 26. The first announcement is that their OFDMA-based return channel technology was recently approved by the Digital Video Broadcasting (DVB) Committee as an International standard and is the basic infrastructure for Wireless Interactive Television. Runcom will also announce their multi-million dollar commercial contract with a high-speed Internet access system integrator to provide 50,000 Broadband Wireless Access (BWA) Products including System-on-a-Chip and Base-Station System-on-Board. This is based on Runcom's complete reference design package that allows manufactures and system integrators to provide high-speed wireless broadband communication through Runcom's OFDMA technologies.
