At this week's Cisco Live 2014, Jeff Riddel, Solutions Architect for Cisco, delivered a detailed presentation outlining IPv6 deployment best practices for the cable access network.

Major benefits of IPv6 for networks may include significantly greater address space and routing efficiency, more efficient packet processing, multi-cast support, and stateless address auto-configuration -- not to mention IPv6's capacities as the prime enabler for "The Internet of Things."
