The development of cabling standards by the TIA TR-42 Engineering Committee often involves collaboration with other standards-development organizations, including the Institute of Electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE), which develops Ethernet standards; and the International Organization for Standardization/International Electrotechnical Commission (ISO/IEC), which develops cabling standards used internationally. These groups’ combined efforts result in an ecosystem of specifications that can guide project design and implementation, ensuring compliance and best-case results for users. This webcast describes the collaborative efforts taking place among these standards-development organizations, including specific information about recently completed and still-under-development standards.
