Ethernet Alliance mounts Data Center Bridging Plugfest

This UNH-IOL Plugfest will target interoperability testing of Ethernet standards being developed by IEEE Data Center Bridging Task Force.

The Ethernet Alliance Data Center Subcommittee invites both Ethernet Alliance members and non-members to participate in upcoming the Data Center Bridging plugfest. The event is scheduled for the week of May 17th, 2010 and will be held at UNH-IOL (University of New Hampshire Interoperability Lab) in Durham, NH. The participation registration deadline is April 16.

This plugfest will target interoperability testing of Ethernet standards being developed by IEEE Data Center Bridging Task Force that includes projects such as IEEE 802.1Qbb and IEEE 802.1Qaz. The plugfest will perform testing within a broad vendor community and will exercise DCB features across multiple applications such as FCoE, iSCSI, and latency sensitive applications.
