In June, TREND Networks, global manufacturer and supplier of test equipment for cable, network, PoE, CCTV, bandwidth, and Industrial Ethernet applications, announced that its VP Sales – North America, Mike Grindele, has assumed additional responsibility for the company's customer service, technical support, and repair and calibration departments, "with a commitment to put customer experience at the heart of everything the company does," per a company statement.
The new reporting structure "will ensure distributors and end users have access to the dependable equipment, data, and support they need," added the company, which emphasized that Grindele’s key area of focus "will be on providing a frictionless point of contact and consistent high level of service through sales and order fulfilment, to post-sales technical support and [product] calibration."

Grindele, who resides in Dallas, Texas, brings decades of experience within the IT and test equipment field, having joined TREND Networks in 2020 after 19 years with Fluke Networks.
With a focus on the customer experience, TREND Networks said Grindele will use his in-depth knowledge to lead the company's service team in responding fast to customer needs, and "alongside his new responsibilities, will continue to head up an experienced department of sales personnel to cater to customers across North America."
