PolyPhaser, an Infinite Electronics brand and a provider of RF and data surge protection, filtering and grounding products, has introduced new high-performance RF surge protectors geared for cellular, DAS and LMR applications.

Designed to protect outdoor radio and antenna installations, PolyPhaser’s new coaxial RF surge protectors are used to safeguard sensitive outdoor equipment passing through the 800 MHz to 2.25 GHz frequency range, in a DC block topology.

Offering bi-directional, repetitive strike surge protection and with excellent low-PIM performance of -150 dBc, PolyPhaser says its new quarter wave stubs protect equipment from electromagnetic pulse or power surges caused by lightning or electrical charges, and are available in four configurations.

”Our new high-performance protectors provide our customers with another option to implement the RF lightning protection solution that best aligns with their system reliability model and their budget,” commented Dan Rebeck, product line manager at PolyPhaser.
