New product can be seen at this week's 2014 BICSI Winter show.

Belkin has introduced its new Belkin Meeting Room Power Center, designed to provide easy, tabletop access to surge-protected AC power outlets and USB charging ports. According to the company, the new power device eliminates the inconvenience of plugging into a floor power strip and the disruption of losing battery power during collaborative situations in conference rooms.

According to the company, the Belkin Meeting Room Power Center offers surge-protected electrical outlets and USB charging ports to keep business-critical devices powered up for as long as needed. Convenient tabletop access to four standard AC power outlets and eight USB charging ports supplies simultaneous power to multiple computing devices and peripherals, from tablets and smartphones to laptops and projectors. Operating at 2.1A for its USB ports, the new product's 1080-Joule energy rating provides superior power protection for sensitive mobile devices. Its heavy base keeps the hub stable on a conference room table.

"True to our philosophy of designing products that are engineered to address real challenges and make computing a better experience for users, the new Meeting Room Power Center does just that -- it eliminates the hassles of running out of battery power and down time, and the inconvenience of connecting with floor power units," comments Luis Artiz, director of product management, Business Division, Belkin International. "And with a $25,000 connected equipment warranty, users can be confident that Belkin stands by its products to deliver the best quality and longevity available."

The Belkin Meeting Room Power Center (PN: B2E025-06-BLK) is now available through the company’s network of authorized channel partners. Belkin will demonstrate the new power device and other products designed for mobile and business use at the BICSI Winter Conference and Exhibition 2014, February 2-6 in Orlando, Florida in booth #606.
