Technicolor (France), a provider of production, post-production, and distribution services to digital content creators and distributors, has produced a technical white paper that defines and addresses current, key Wi-Fi trends for network service providers. Entitled Wireless Technologies for Network Service Providers White Paper 2012 - 2013, the 26-page technical document provides a technology roadmap, an overview of emerging 802.11ac platforms, a thorough analysis of next-generation “Hotspot 2.0” architectures as defined by the Wi-Fi Alliance, as well sections on Wi-Fi TCO [total cost of ownership] and performance evaluation.
