Prysmian Group North America (including the General Cable brand) The health and safety of our employees and local communities are of the utmost importance for Prysmian Group. We are closely monitoring the evolution of the coronavirus (COVID-19) spread in real time with the aim of preventing and minimizing impacts on our people and operations.

In addition to following guidance from federal, state and local authorities, including the CDC and other health organizations, we have activated our own dedicated preparedness plan, including the facilitation of remote working where applicable, limitation of access to our facilities and offices, implementation of a business travel ban and cancellation of company events. Also, additional hygiene and sanitation measures have been adopted in all working areas, which extra attention given to communal areas, including implementation of temperature scanning prior to entrance and other measures to promote social distancing in the workplace.

While there are currently no interruptions to our normal business operations, our Business Continuity and Emergency Preparedness Team has worked with all functions within our North America organization to put in place continuity plans to ensure operations continue, while our focus is on the health and safety of our employees and the communities we serve.
