HellermannTyton’s Aluminum Laminated Fiberglass Wrap deflects radiant heat away from network cable, other types of cables and wires.

Network cable that is exposed to high-heat environments may have a new method of protection against the deleterious effects of that heat on its performance. HellermannTyton says its new Aluminum Laminated Fiberglass Wrap “combines the protection of bonded aluminum and fiberglass into a robust solution that deflects radiant heat away from sensitive wires and cables.”

The product features a wrap-around design that the company says allows for fast and easy installation and maintenance when used with network cable, other types of cable, or individual wires. “No special tools are required, as the wrap can be cut to length using ordinary scissors,” HellermannTyton said “It also includes an adhesive strip along the edge that can be used to secure the enclosure.”
