Feb. 24, 2011

Dow Wire and Cable announced it is increasing pricing for its products effective April 1. Exactly how much the increase will be depends on the product and geographic region. Dow also instituted a price increase on January 1, 2011.

Among the products subject to the price increase are some in the SI-LINK system, which Dow describes as a "colorable bimodal high-density polyethylene jacketing compound for both power and telecommunications jacketing."

Several products in the SI-LINK product line will increase in price by 19 cents per pound.

Dow Wire and Cable's cable-manufacturer customers have been notified of the impending increases.
