The Fusion 2000 automatic fiber-optic fusion splicer uses advanced power alignment technology. This technology, which uses a high-power light source, offers core-to-core three-axis alignment and accurate estimates of splice loss. This splicing system includes data memory, an RS-232 interface, a built-in splice sleeve heater with auto heat and cool cycles, and data and diagnostic readouts.
