Flexible in More Than One Way: New Cable Entry From Icotek

Cable glands made by icotek aim to make installation simple, fast, and money-saving.

A new series of cable glands has been introduced by icotek, “setting new standards in terms of flexibility, efficiency and space-saving”. With the solution’s conincal design, different cable diameters can be routed through a single standard cut-out.

These conical sealing membranes work flexibly with cable diameters from 3 to 28 mm. “This enables not only the secure fixing of different cable sizes, but also the angled routing of rigid cables without damaging the membrane.” Due to the installation being quick, simple, and tool-free, the solution is cost-effective and timesaving, only requiring four screws.

The KEL-DPFR cable glands have an IP65/IP66 protection rating, with protection from dust, moisture, and dirt. The cable glands are best-suited for mechanical and plant engineering, automation technology, and control cabinet applications. Because the product is compatible with standardized cut-outs, it can easily integrate into existing systems and reduce storage costs.
