Platinum Tools Will Show Its New Wireless Fiber Optic Inspection Scope at 2026 InfoComm

Platinum Tools will be showcasing its new Fiber Optic Inspection Scope during InfoComm 2026. The event will be held in Las Vegas, Nevada, from June 17th-19th at the Las Vegas Convention Center, and Platinum Tools will feature its T-SCOPE-200 at booth #C5026. The scope is a portable, wired, or Wi-Fi-enabled fiber inspection microscope made to be convenient, fast, and precise.

“The PT-SCOPE-200 provides a solution for endface inspection and reporting to ensure fiber optic connectors are up to the correct cleanliness standards,” explained Sean Rothermel, Platinum Tools product manager.

He continues, “With 200X magnification and compatibility across both Android and iOS, it provides crystal-clear images of fiber end faces directly on a smartphone or tablet. Dirt and debris are easily identifiable and the integrated application will provide testing zones to show pass/fail results, making it perfect for Pro AV, fieldwork, data centers, and telecom applications.”

The product is compatible with the company’s mini OTDR and Copper Tester and is suitable for technicians and installers working on fiber optic cable terminations. It includes common connector endface adapters and a slim carrying case for simple transport.

The PT-SCOPE-200 is now shipping and comes with a quick-start guide, USB-C charging, and a “snapshot” feature that allows professionals to capture, save, and share inspection results instantly. Other noteworthy features include fiber connector QA and troubleshooting, a rechargeable Li-ion battery, and a compact, durable design that can be used in various environments.
