The Panduit QuickNet PanMPO Round Interconnect Cable Assemblies are preterminated 12-fiber cable assemblies that are used in high-density network applications. These round interconnect cable assemblies are used with preterminated cassettes in main and horizontal cabling distribution areas. The interconnect's high-density modular design fits into rack-mount fiber cassette enclosures to ensure efficient use of space and rapid network deployment. Legrand says its Infinium Quantum Preterminated Fiber Solutions open up new levels of optical headroom, "delivering tomorrow's performance in today’s network." This is accomplished by pairing an Infinium Quantum trunk and cassette for a maximum mated pair connection loss of 0.235 dB; and by pairing an Infinium Quantum cassette and patch cable for a maximum mated pair connection loss of 0.14 dB. These assemblies deliver a loss of 0.375 dB at each end of the trunk or maximum 0.75 dB of total channel connection loss between transmitter and receiver. The Infinium Quantum trunks are compatible with all cassettes from the company's Infinium Quantum, Ultra and Core product lines for simplified migration.
