Specialty electronic components distributor TTI, Inc. (Fort Worth, TX) has added TE Connectivity’s ODVA RJ45 VARIANT 1 Connector Systems to its line card.

TE Connectivity’s ODVA Variant 1 RJ45 Connectors are designed with a rugged housing that provides chemical resistant, IP67 and UV resistant protection to handle harsh environment applications.

The connector allows designers to place external ports on their equipment that will be installed in both indoor and outdoor locations.

For outdoor applications, these connectors provide against water and dust intrusion while maintaining the IP/NEMA rating for their enclosures.

For indoor applications, the products provide similar security against water and dust along with enhanced durability.
