Clearfield Releases FiberFirst 6-inch Pedestal For Fiber Expansion

This product will aid operators in deploying fiber more economically to suburban and rural communities.

The CraftSmart FiberFirst 6-inch Pedestal is a compact, secure, above-ground access point for operators looking to increase their fiber footprint into less densely populated areas and communities. BEAD funding and Build America, Buy America (BABA)-qualified products can help streamline the delivery of fiber broadband services in rural communities while expanding fiber networks further than before. With Clearfield’s Labor Lite product design the pedestal can be deployed by technicians of any field level in the outside plant environment.

The CraftSmart FiberFirst 6-inch Pedestal is a small, cost-effective, non-metallic enclosure and is tested for industry standards of strength, reliability and environmental concerns. The pedestal is designed and tested to deal with harsh environmental conditions, UV, and chemical and impact resistance. The FiberFirst 6-inch Pedestal has a built-in multi-use metal frame for mounting fiber terminals and connectivity products within the pedestal.

FiberFirst 6-inch Pedestal orders can begin in November. The product will also be showcased at the SCTE CableTec Expo in Denver at Clearfield booth #1139.
