Multimode components for LANs include standard SMA and ST interfaces, as well as an EC interface. ST-type interfaces include ST-1 connectors, the RST2-compatible, the beST connector and ST-type active-device receptacles. Also available are standard cable assemblies, as well as FC, FDDI and SC connectors.
