L-com names former Eaton, Belden exec as EVP of sales, product development

Bill Miller is L-com's new executive vice president of sales and product development.

Wired and wireless networks products supplier L-com Global Connectivity announced that it has appointed Bill Miller as the company's new executive vice president of sales and product development.

According to a press statement, "with over 25 years in global sales, marketing, and product management roles, Miller brings strong process orientation, solutions selling and goal deployment experience to L-com." Most recently, he was employed at Nexans as VP of sales and marketing, where he focused on business complexity reduction and end user demand through distribution networks. Miller has also managed various sales and marketing organizations at cable and connectivity infrastructure companies including Eaton and Belden.

In his new role, Miller will be responsible for L-com's global sales, customer service, product management and engineering organizations. He will be reporting directly to L-com's president and CEO, Jon Jensen.

"Bill brings a wealth of knowledge and experience to our organization that will help accelerate our growth and product development efforts," commented Jensen. "His accomplished career designing and selling highly engineered products, such as ours, will be a tremendous addition to our organization."

Miller added, "I am excited about being part of an organization focused on technology solutions supported with an excellent service model. Our approach to organizing engineering, product management and sales under a common function is very unique and will be a key driver in delivering new innovative products quickly for customers."

Miller will be based out of L-com's Boca Raton, Florida location.
