Power protection and connectivity solutions specialist Tripp Lite has launched a new line of high-density fiber cassette solutions designed to physically interconnect any combination of 10G, 40G and 100/120G network equipment, the company says.
“Our high-density fiber cassette solutions are designed for the rapidly-changing world of network connectivity,” says David Posner, Tripp Lite Product Manager. “They offer users an easy-to-use, customizable solution that works with the equipment of today, and can easily be transitioned for the networks of tomorrow.”
According to a company press release announcing the new product line, network managers can choose from a variety of easy-to-use modular cassettes and insert them into a 1U or 2U enclosure panel to create a customized and flexible fiber infrastructure. When evolving standards or organizational needs require network changes, the network manager can modify, upgrade or expand the fiber infrastructure by simply adding or swapping cassettes.
The high-density fiber cassette solutions also make cable management easy, permitting complete cable access from the front or back of the enclosure panel. All of the separate cable management components are removable, allowing for a variety of configurations. The protective panel prevents cables from being accidentally bumped or disconnected and has space for full labeling on the reverse side.
Tripp Lite’s fiber cassette solutions support a wide range of applications and protocols in telecom and data center environments.
