Leviton adds component-rated Cat 6A connector

July 8, 2009--Leviton Network Solutions' eXtreme CAT 6A QuickPort connector has been tested by Intertek/ETL to exceed component performance as defined by the ANSI/TIA/EIA-568-B.2-10 Category 6A standard.

The connector features patent-pending triple-stage compensation designed to enhance permanent link and channel performance, and a proprietary Cone of Silence and metalized body designed to eliminate alien crosstalk between connectors in patching and work area applications.
