Robert Carlson, who served as vice president of global marketing for the Siemon Company and was a member of the company’s board of directors, passed away on August 31 after a year-plus battle with pancreatic cancer. He was 51.

Carlson’s obituary details his personal and professional achievements. It states that his son, Robert S. Carlson, is now employed by Siemon.

“Through work, he travelled the world and met co-workers that in turn became close friends and family,” the obituary says. “It was at the Siemon Company that he became the lead singer of the company band, River Mud.”
