Aug. 25, 2011
Switch allows four independent channels to be switched individually or simultaneously via RS485 ASCII commands.

The Model 7199 4-channel BNC A/B switch from Electro Standards Laboratories allows each channel to share two BNC networks from one common BNC network or device. The unit also features a DB9 remote port that is designed to support RS485 multi-drop applications.

The switch allows four independent switch channels to be switched individually or simultaneously via RS485 ASCII commands. This BNC switch also features the added security of no local control or front-panel pushbuttons; it is controlled via remote-control operation only. The rack-mount switch with anodized black-box packaging also provides shielding from electromagnetic interference and radio-frequency interference.
