DINSpace (Addison, TX) announced that its Snap Din-Rail line of patch panels has attained UL certification. From this point forward, every Snap brand fiber-optic and Cat 6 patch panel manufactured by the company will bear the UL Listed mark. The certification allows end-users, integrators and OEMs requiring UL Listed components to specify the company's patch panels.

The Snap Din-Rail patch panels are billed as compact in size, requiring minimum space within control cabinetry. The panels feature a rugged design, a splice tray to allow fusion splicing of field cabling, and a sliding faceplate with capture mechanism allowing it to be kept open “hands-free.” Target applications include: industrial manufacturing plants; pipelines; intelligent traffic systems; oil and gas well sites; wind turbines; solar panel installations; and water and wastewater facilities.
"We are pleased to attain this important certification," comments Stephen Woram, president of DINSpace. "The SNAP product offering has enjoyed great success, and we believe this certification will allow our product to be used by a broader customer base. We are committed to meeting the needs of the industrial marketplace with quality products; ensuring those products are safe by attaining the UL listing is proof of that commitment."
