Global data center services provider CyrusOne (NASDAQ: CONE) has launched a virtual tour of its San Antonio data center. The company says the 107,000-square-foot data center is the first enterprise-class multi-tenant facility brought to the San Antonio market, capable of scaling up to more than 20 megawatts of power from multiple substations.

“The San Antonio data center provides military-grade security, robust connectivity, and the highest level of power redundancy and density needed to house mission-critical systems and high-density storage environments for Fortune 1000 customers,” comments Scott Brueggeman, chief marketing officer of CyrusOne.

The San Antonio data center is also an integral part of CyrusOne’s National Internet Exchange (National IX) platform, by use of which customers at 12 CyrusOne data centers in five metro markets can engage with their enterprise-owned facilities, as well as third-party facilities, locally and across the country.

Brueggeman adds, “Even companies not directly located in San Antonio can benefit from the low-cost power and relatively disaster-free geography of the area as well as the robust Internet connectivity offered through the CyrusOne National IX platform.”
