Belden, Fluke to host BICSI luncheon

Belden and Fluke Networks will be co-hosting a 'lunch-and-learn' presentation during the 2013 BICSI Winter Conference in Tampa, FL. On the table will be the topic of high-speed fiber deployment and design flexibility.

"Winning in tomorrow’s data center," is the title of the luncheon event, which will take place on Tuesday, January 22, 2013 from 12:00pm – 1:30pm EST. Presentations will be delivered by Paul Kish, director of systems and standards at Belden, and Adrian Young, senior technical support engineer with Fluke.

Aimed at network infrastructure consultants and designers, the presentation's focus in particular will be on how to "dramatically [increase] the competitiveness" of pre-terminated MPO optical fiber design projects. For contractors, guidance will be offered on how they may "[save] significant time and money in installing and verifying high-performance installations."

“Whether migrating to 40 and 100 Gb/s to support high-bandwidth services or consolidating systems, data centers are constantly evolving,” comments Belden's Kish. “It is important to ensure you have a system design that is flexible, with cabling products that are easy to install and test quickly. This luncheon presentation outlines that solution with Belden’s pre-terminated fiber and Fluke Networks’ trusted testing.”
