According to the company, designed to help data center and IT managers effectively manage continuous changes and increasing complexity of connected loads throughout their facilities and network closets, the scalable and modular Liebert MPX offers flexibility and comprehensive remote management capabilities. The Liebert MPH delivers real-time monitoring and control of connected loads, and operates with the same network interface platform as the Liebert MPX. Additionally, the Knurr DI-STRIP, available in both standard and HighPower models, brings simple, expandable power distribution to equipment racks.

Liebert MPX enables on-site configuration of power input and distribution to meet immediate IT needs and the flexible capacity to support data center growth. With power monitoring and management to the receptacle level, Liebert MPX equips data center and IT managers with the data required to proactively manage changes in the data center while economically increasing the availability of critical systems.
All of the rack PDU products operate with the industry's leading standard operating temperature (up to 131 degrees Fahrenheit) ensuring that the entire family can handle the harsh temperatures found at the back of the IT equipment rack.
Kightlinger said flexibility is one of the defining features of the entire Emerson Network Power rack PDU family. The Liebert MPX allows users to reconfigure rack PDU input power, from 20 to 60 amps, and swap out, on the fly, receptacle modules as their IT equipment power requirements and plug types change over time. These modules can be controlled remotely from anywhere and at any time via a standard network browser, and provide electrical monitoring both at the rack level and individual receptacle level.
Both Liebert MPX and Liebert MPH offer an integrated network card that provides upgradeable network communications, sensor input, an intelligent display interface, and remote monitoring and control via secure web/SNMP. All monitored rack PDUs can be monitored and managed through Liebert Nform or Liebert SiteScan Web software.
With a recent Data Center Users' Group survey indicating rack densities are expected to climb toward 20 kW per rack in the future, Kightlinger adds that detailed monitoring, a key feature of both the Liebert MPX and Liebert MPH, will take on increasing importance by allowing data center managers to operate their data centers more efficiently.
