GLASSBORO, N.J. -- DCiM Solutions, LLC, a provider of data center infrastructure management platforms, has announced its acquisition of IIS Group, which also provides infrastructure solutions for mission-critical environments. As a result of this acquisition, the combined organization has officially commenced a campaign to rebrand the standalone company as Critical Environments Group (CEG). CEG is unveiling the new company and brand at this week’s Data Center World Global 2017 (April 3-6) in Los Angeles.
According to the companies, "The new name and brand better communicates that both companies have optimized operations for all types of critical environments. CEG offers solutions that address facility design; Data Center Infrastructure Management (DCIM); cabinets; airflow and cooling; power distribution and protection; space and media storage; leak detection, monitoring and alerting; security; and aisle containment. In addition to data centers of all sizes, CEG improves efficiencies and ensures reliability for distributed IT environments, computer rooms, central offices, and edge computing environments."
“It was a very logical move for DCiM to join forces with IIS and subsequently brand as one cohesive company,” says Mike McClain, Chief Executive Officer of Critical Environments Group and the former CEO of DCiM Solutions. “This acquisition greatly enhanced and broadened the offerings and client base of both organizations. Likewise, with satellite offices now on both coasts and throughout the southern United States, the reach of CEG is far more expansive than either company could have achieved on its own.”
In support of its branding as CEG, the company has unveiled its new website at criticaleg.com. The former companies’ websites will now redirect customers to the new site.
