Online seminar looks at high-density cabling systems

Routing, cooling and MACs are addressed in three online presentations.

An online seminar entitled "Cabling, Cooling and Managing the Data Center" will feature three presentations that focus on different aspects of managing high-density cabling installations. Sponsored by CommScope and Legrand Ortronics, the seminar will include presentations on cable-management, thermal management and changes in the physical-layer infrastructure.

The cable-management presentation will describe best practices for planning and installing cable-tray systems. The presentation covering thermal management will explain the philosophies and technologies behind cooling options available today. And the presentation on change-management will discuss the options available to make adding equipment to a data center as quick a proces as possible.

Attendees will be eligible to earn one Continuing Education Credit for the following BICSI professional designations: RCDD, Installer, Technician, RITP, Certified Trainer.
