Legrand Launches Security Kit for Wire Mesh Tray

Legrand’s newest product, the Security Kit for Wire Mesh Tray is made to be a data center’s “frontline defense against data for cyber attacks and physical tampering by preventing unauthorized access to cables carrying sensitive data”. The product is unique in that it is the first of its kind on the market and is suitable for data center wiring as well as possible insecure areas in offices such as conference rooms and hallways.

Every kit easily converts existing segments of wire mesh tray into a fully enclosed, secured run for ample pathway protection. The Security Kit includes everything required for a simple installation including a solid steel cover, solid steel 3-sided insert, and secure connectors that attach using tamper-proof screws.  They have durable finishes which are available in either pre-galvanized or black, which help prolong the lifespan of the product. The kit also features 3-sided steel inserts which are compatible with standard Cablofil Wire Mesh Tray.
