Solrais entered an agreement with an unnamed operator, titling the venture “Stateline Power”. The service commercial contract was signed earlier in 2025 for 500MW of power, but has now been increased to 900MW. On top of this, the duration of the contract has been extended from six years to seven.
Although the location and timeline of the data center in question is still undisclosed, Stateline continues to push forward. Stateline has come up with a term sheet and is also completing necessary documentation for $550 million in loan funding which will be utilized for most of the capital needs of this venture.
Bill Zartler, Solaris chairman and CEO, commented, “We are also excited to solidify our partnership with an industry leader and fast mover in the artificial intelligence computing space to provide power for their newest data center campus.
“We believe this joint venture demonstrates Solaris’ value as a partner and in its ability to deliver reliable prime power while also providing redundancy and complementary backup to grid power. Additionally, we have secured meaningful new generation capacity to meet the continued demand we see for power, whether it is co-located, off-grid, or backup.”
