Integra Optics Has Added 800G Transceivers to its Portfolio
Integra Optics recently announced the launch of its new 800G transceivers. The transceivers were made to meet the increasing demands of data center networks, AI, and cloud computing. The company states that, “These transceivers deliver power efficiency, enhanced scalability and reliability for networks — all at a lower cost than comparable OEM transceivers”.
They enable end users to push resource-heavy workloads and large quantities of processing power in real time with their support of faster data transmission. From data centers to metropolitan area networks to other high-speed environments, the transceivers allow network operators to upgrade their existing 100G and 400G infrastructure.
“As data centers scale to support AI applications and increasingly complex workloads, our 800G transceivers provide the backbone for seamless, high-capacity networking,” said Jason Koshy, vice president of global sales at Infinite Electronics. “The new transceivers offer the same high quality and reliability our customers expect while allowing for more space efficiency as well as significant cost savings compared to similar OEM optics.”
