Users of Milwaukee’s new M12 FUEL Digital Torque Wrenches now can upload torque reports directly from One-Key into BIM 360 Docs.

Milwaukee Tool (Milwaukee, WI) this week announced that its One-Key digital platform now integrates with Autodesk Construction Cloud’s BIM 360 construction management software, enabling customers to seamlessly share information between the two solutions and enhance asset tracking, project management, and reporting.

Once users link their One-Key account with their BIM 360 account, master records like Projects and Contacts now can be imported directly into One-Key, keeping collaboration systems synchronized. Further, users of Milwaukee’s new M12 FUEL Digital Torque Wrenches will be able to upload torque reports directly from One-Key into BIM 360 Docs, digitally syncing torque quality data from the field to the back office. Milwaukee plans to roll out similar reporting functionalities with other tools over time.

Among the industry’s largest and most robust asset management platform and tracking networks, One-Key incorporates superior tool electronics with a custom-built, cloud-based software application to provide control over asset data and simplifying the way construction projects get done, contends the manufacturer. The Milwaukee Tool One-Key platform and BIM 360 integration provides enhanced control, tying in critical project information to further inform asset management.

“As the industry builds a construction technology ecosystem, contractors are faced with more software solutions than ever before to help support and run their businesses. This integration with BIM 360 will streamline the tool management aspects of the construction process within the BIM 360 interface, creating huge workflow efficiencies for users of both platforms,” says Andrew Lambert, group program manager for Milwaukee One-Key.

“As the construction industry continues to digitize and adopt various solutions, integrations become increasingly critical for streamlining data management,” adds James Cook, head of integrations at Autodesk Construction Solutions. “Integrating with One-Key enables us to provide customers access to their asset data in BIM 360 so they have the context they need for project management, simplifying decision making ultimately helping reduce project risks.”
