Electri-Flex Company (Roselle, IL) has announced changes to its purchasing department, as the company's current director of purchasing, Ken Kuhnlohe, has announced his retirement. Going forward, Tony Ambrogio now joins the company as purchasing manager, bringing a diversified background in commodities purchasing, as well as electrical industry purchasing experience.
Ambrogio comes to Electri-Flex with an understanding of supply chain management, inventory control, and contract negotiating, with over 9 years purchasing experience and 5 of those years in the electrical industry. He previously held purchasing roles for distributors, contractors, and other manufacturers throughout his career.
Electri-Flex, a specialist in electrical conduit design and manufacture for over 65 years, is best known for producing the Liquatite products, its diverse line of liquid-tight flexible electrical conduit. The company offers custom design, engineering, quality assurance and testing capabilities.
According to a press announcement, outgoing Electri-Flex director of purchasing Ken Kuhnlohe dedicated more than 40 years to this role, with 20 of those years at Electri-Flex Company.
"He has played an instrumental role within the company, helping to maintain the high-quality standards and support to our supply chain service levels which Electri-Flex is known for in the industry," stated the announcement.
“I want to thank Ken for his tenacity, frugality, thoughtfulness, and leadership, but most of all we will miss his friendship,” commented Roy Hunn, VP-Operations at Electri-Flex.
