Cross-Line Laser Levels Resist Water and Dust

Klein Tools’ mini cross-line levels project red and green horizontal lines.

Klein Tools offers red and green mini cross-line laser levels that produce horizontal lines with a working range of 35 feet (red version) and 50 feet (green version). The level projects horizontal and vertical lines to address a number of alignment tasks. The company says the level is compact and lightweight, making it “easy to use in tight areas and to store when not in use.”

The level’s lines have accuracy of 3/16-inch at 30 feet (red) and at 33 feet (green). An auto out-of-level detector causes the lasers to flash when the device is no longer level. A magnetic mounting bracket screws into the level’s integrated ¼-inch tripod mount.

The water- and dust-resistant level provides more than 18 hours of runtime (red) or 8 hours (green).

“Working on professional jobsites, precision and accuracy are key in getting the job done,” said Amy Hart, associate director of product management at Klein Tools. “With both Klein Tools’ new Red and Green Mini Cross-Line Laser Levels, professionals get a reliable pendulum self-leveling system with bright red and green laser level lines. Water- and dust-resistant, the levels are also equipped with magnetic mounting brackets to make measuring as convenient as possible.”
