Graybar names new CIO

Graybar announced that David Meyer has been named to the twin roles of vice president and chief information officer (CIO).

Graybar announced that David Meyer has been named to the twin roles of vice president and chief information officer (CIO), effective March 30, 2015.

According to a press release, Meyer has to his credit 20 years of IT experience, and most recently held the position of director, Global SAP Information Technology with INVISTA, a subsidiary of Koch Industries. In his new role, he will oversee all of Graybar’s information technology functions, supporting the needs of the business and leading technology innovation at Graybar.

“We are pleased to welcome David to the Graybar team,” said Scott Clifford, Graybar's senior vice president, supply chain nanagement. “David brings the technical knowledge, business acumen and leadership experience that are vital to success in this role. I am confident that he will implement technology solutions that enhance our business and give us new ways to work to the advantage of our customers and suppliers.”
