Contract watch: R&M banks multifaceted structured cabling deal in Jordan

Swiss structured cabling specialist Reichle & De-Massari (R&M)  has won a contract to supply and install network cabling infrastructure for Bank Audi Jordan's new head office.

The Middle East, Turkey and Africa business unit of Swiss structured cabling specialist Reichle & De-Massari (R&M) has won a contract to supply and install network cabling infrastructure for Bank Audi Jordan's new head office in Abdali, Amman, as reported at ConstructionWeekOnline.

R&M will supply and install end-to-end communications cabling infrastructure consisting of Cat 6, Cat 6A and OM3 fiber-optic cabling connected to the R&M global rack, which supports up to 60 Cat 6 RJ45 connectors or 120 OM3 fiber-optic connections. The new infrastructure will enable 10 Gigabit Ethernet connectivity and enhance security, reportedly though measures which prevent the unauthorized plugging and un-plugging of patch cords from patch panels and faceplates.
