Ideal Industries names new channel marketing manager

Ideal Industries, Inc., a manufacturer and supplier of tools, connectors and testing products for electricians and data communications contractors, has announced the appointment of Dorothy Heckle as channel marketing manager.

Based at the company's headquarters in Sycamore, IL, Ms. Heckle will be responsible for developing and facilitating channel-specific marketing programs to drive growth within Ideal's distribution network, as well as to oversee advertising, publicity, social media and website initiatives.

"As Ideal continues to expand its presence in a variety of markets, we wanted to put in place an experienced and knowledgeable professional to ensure our brand remains fresh, innovative and consistent throughout all our business units," comments Joe Saganowich, vice president of Ideal's Electrical Distribution Group.

Heckle joins Ideal after an 8-year career with Newell Rubbermaid, where she progressed through successful roles as brand manager, global brand manager, and senior channel manager. Prior to that, she served as product manager at Boise Paper for seven years.

"Dorothy brought to the table everything we needed," continues Saganowich. "Our long-term, proven commitment to the Ideal distribution channel means that her new role is central to the success of our business. Her impressive track record at Rubbermaid and Boise means we can be confident she will add value to our distributor and partner relationships."
