Graybar expands in Pennsylvania, New York

Distributor expands in Williamsport, PA and Hudson Valley, NY.

Communications, electrical and data networking products distributor Graybar announced the opening of a new branch in Williamsport, PA, and the addition of a customer counter and on-site inventory to its existing location in Hudson Valley, NY.

The Williamsport branch is the fourth new location Graybar has opened in 2013. The full-service branch, led by branch manager Mike Schaefer, supports industrial, commercial and construction customers in Clinton, Columbia, Lycoming, Montour, Northumberland, Sullivan, Bradford, Tioga and Union counties and the Marcellus Shale region of Pennsylvania. Graybar is also expanding its existing sales office in Hudson Valley, New York, to include on-site inventory and a customer counter. It is led by branch manager Ginger Jett and serves the Hudson Valley region of Westchester, Ulster, Putnam, Rockland, Sullivan, Orange and Dutchess counties. The branch is located at 6 Skyline Drive and may be contacted at (914) 570-8400.

The site additions continue Graybar’s strategy of broadening its reach to bring products and services even closer to its customers. In 2012, Graybar opened branches in Charleston, South Carolian, Lincoln, Nebraska, Lafayette, Indiana, and Joplin, Missouri. This year, Graybar has opened locations in Dickinson, North Dakota, Carrizo Springs, Texas, and Rockford, Illinois. The distributor says it plans to announce additional branch expansions and openings in the coming months.
