Exfo's FTB-8120NGE and FTB-8130NGE Power Blazer multiservice test modules now operate as much as four times faster than they used to, thanks to platform technology advancements and processing-speed increases. The test modules offer suites of Ethernet, packet-OTN and SONET/SDH test capabilities.
The FTB-8130NGE supports testing rates up to 11.1 Gbits/sec, including 10 Gigabit Ethernet for LAN and WAN applications. Exfo says the module is ideally suited for the deployment and maintenance of packet optical networks. The FTB-8120NGE handles SONET/SDH/OTN testing rates up to 2.7 Gbits/sec and Ethernet rates up to 1 Gbit/sec. Exfo says it is purpose-built for deployments of Ethernet-over-TDM and Ethernet-over-SONET/SDH/OTN services.
